Discover Carolina Reef Foundation's mission!

We will conduct coral rescue dives to collect at-risk coral into coral rescue containers. These dives will be promoted on social media to attract volunteers and raise awareness of the importance of our efforts. 

We will continue to develop Coral nurseries to serve as incubators for rescued corals. We establish and maintain these nurseries, nurturing coral fragments until they are ready for transplantation. 

If any target reef are in need of clean up, we will conduct clean up dive to prepare the location for transplanting efforts. We will also plan clean up dives and needed on an ongoing basis. 

Our team will identify suitable sites for coral out-planting. We will carefully relocate Oculina Robusta corals, emphasizing hard coral species that are native to the region. By providing optimal conditions, we promote coral growth and resilience. 

So many people that have heard our vision have expressed a long held desire to part of an effort to protect our marine life treasures. We will work hard to create opportunities for people to give back through life-changing experiences with the skill and resources they have been blessed with to fulfill their dreams.

Your payment will include the dive charter fee, any rental equipment, plus a $50 donation to CRF to support our conservation efforts. All fees will be combined into one payment to Coastal Scuba.
